To support residents facing economic hardship and food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City has established an emergency food pantry. The pantry, located at James Park, offers Evanston residents free, prepackaged boxes of food, including non-perishable items, produce, and protein. Boxes will be distributed on Wednesday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or while supplies last. Registration is required by Monday, September 28 at 5 p.m.
The pantry is no longer a drive-through event. Residents may park in the James Park parking lot and then walk to the food pantry, located at the James Park Field House.
