Join in for a virtual Levy Lecture Series hosted through Zoom during the month of June. On June 16, Megan Wells will portray Mary Shelley. 

Frankenstein, the world’s first Science Fiction novel, was written by a nineteen year-old girl named Mary Shelley.  How she came to write such a novel reveals the painful struggle of a brilliant and rebellious mind.  Born of two idealistic parents, Mary rebelled against English Social norms to have a relationship with romantic poet Percy Pysshe Shelley.  Mary’s life experiences add up to “a dark and stormy night” when a story born  by a dare liberates her genius.
