Join in for a virtual Levy Lecture Series hosted through Zoom during the month of June. On June 2, Megan Wells will portray Florence Nightingale.
This year, the Year of the Nurse, we celebrate the 200th birthday of the originator of modern nursing. Remembered as the Lady of the Lamp, Florence Nightingale served on the “frontlines” of the Crimean War in 1854 as Superintendent of Nursing for the British Military. Fierce and determined, Florence fought against Victorian expectations to fulfill her calling.
