To support the growing number of residents facing economic hardship and food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City partnered with Northwestern University's Office of Neighborhood and Community Relations to establish an emergency food pantry.
The pantry, located at James Park, offers Evanston residents free, prepackaged boxes of food, including non-perishable items, produce, and protein. Boxes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis every other Wednesday (twice monthly) from 10:30 a.m. to Noon or while supplies last. Boxes will not be distributed before 10:30 a.m.
