The Highland Garden Club of Evanston will hold its annual Backyard Botanicals sale on Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Independence Park, 2000 Central St., Evanston. Native plants that work in residential gardens for bees and butterflies will be available from Midwest Groundcovers, St. Charles, IL and from members’ gardens.  Experienced gardeners will be there to answer your questions. Tool sharpening will be available from 10 a.m. until noon.
