31st Annual Marty F. Leoni Fun Run
All are invited to participate in the 31st Annual Marty F. Leoni Fun Run on Sunday, October 16, 8:30 a.m., beginning at Fire Department Headquarters, located at 909 Lake St., Evanston.
Firefighter/Paramedic Marty Leoni lost his life in the line of duty at a fire at 1927 Jackson St. in Evanston on July 22, 1985. All proceeds will benefit the Marty Leoni Memorial Fund.
Time: 8:30 a.m. to noon
Start: Fire Department Headquarters, 909 Lake St., Evanston
Finish: Elliott Park, Hamilton St. and Lake Shore Blvd.
Distance: Approximately 3 miles
Refreshments will follow the event. Event t-shirts may be purchased on site. This free event is open to all ages; no registration necessary.
