Unity in Community Walkathon
Good News Partners is hosting the Unity-in-Community Walkathon on October 16, 2016 to help end homelessness! In January 2015, 564,708 people were homeless on a given night in the United States. This Walkathon strives to raise $200,000 to benefit our North Shore homeless serviced through Good News Partners. Check in for the event begins at 1:00 p.m. at Centennial Park in Evanston, which is located at Sheridan Road at Clark Street.
The walk begins at 1:30 p.m. and there is a block party planned at the finish line at 2:30 p.m. at Willye B. White Park, Howard Street, Chicago. There will be great goody bags, prizes, food, music and activities!
