When parents take kids shopping, sometimes there's not much in it for the kid. Lena Kim of NiceLena & Friends has decided to change that, creating tiny, fairy-sized Fairy Doors for more than 30 businesses. The businesses have each decorated their fairy door with some of their own flair, and the doors are located near their "human-sized" entrance.
On Kids Shopping Day, local kids can pick up a map and passport of all of Kim's fairy doors at NiceLena & Friends (1235 Chicago Ave). They're invited to visit these shops and search for the fairy inside. If they find the fairy, they just might get a prize! To learn more, visit the
