Join your friends and neighbors in celebrating the first day of Kwanzaa featuring West African Drumming, Spoken Word, and Dancing. The esteemed Dr. Gilo Kwesi Cornell Logan will preside over the traditional recitation of the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa and the lighting of the Kinara. There will be plenty of hands-on art activities for the entire family, food vendors, and many more surprises. Admission is free.
