Fall Festival at the Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market
Come in costume and participate in all of the events celebrating the fall bounty from 9-11am. The first 100 children under 12 years old will get a free small pumpkin to decorate and take home. Everyone is invited to guess the weight of Jack and Jill Pumpkins. The best guess will get to take them home. Call 311 (847-448-4311) for details.
The market will be held as usual from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The market has a festive atmosphere and is a real crowd-pleaser, with exciting tent activities most Saturdays! As many as 58 vendors sell a wide variety of goods each week, including fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese, eggs, and bakery items. LINK cards are accepted. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the market (with an exception for service animals).
Parking is free in the adjacent 1800 Maple Avenue Self Park Garage with ticket validation at the City of Evanston tent.
Location: Intersection of University Place and Oak Ave (behind Hilton Garden Inn, east of East Railroad Ave.).
