6th Ward Neighborhood Meeting
Ald. Thomas Suffredin will host a neighborhood meeting on Thursday, October 17, 6 p.m., at Willard School, 2700 Hurd Ave., to discuss The Salvation Army's Special Use request to reoccupy the property at 2715 Hurd Ave., formerly Second Church of Christ, Scientist.
The Salvation Army has requested a Special Use for a Religious Institution in the R1 District, tentatively scheduled for the November 19, 2019 public meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals is a recommending body and the City Council is the determining body for the Special Use request.
