The Levy Senior Center Foundation is proud to bring the talents of young, award-winning classical musicians to the Levy Senior Center. Enjoy the musical stylings of Monika Miodragovic on piano and Caroline Paulsen on cellist.
Monika Miodragovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and in 2008, moved with her family to Chicago. She received her BA in piano performance and music theory at the University of Michigan, and is pursuing a performance diploma at the Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts. She performs solo and chamber repertoire and serves as a teaching artist at Columbia College. She has performed at Chicago Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Harris Theater.
Caroline Paulsen, from Minneapolis, MN, is currently studying cello performance at Northwestern University, where she is also a member of the NU Symphony Orchestra and the Dover Quartet’s chamber music program. Caroline has been a recipient of several competitive scholarships, and has worked with well-known composers.
