The Jamming Jean Music Series, presented by the Levy Senior Center Foundation, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity. Bring the entire family for a fun way to kick off the weekend! All concerts are free and open to the public. Food from Candlelite and beverages will be available for purchase. Concerts will be held in the Maple Room (main gym).

This week, enjoy music from the South Boulevard Band, which has established itself as one of Chicago’s best “feel good” bands. This energetic 7-piece horn band has entertained thousands with their eclectic mix of rockin’ soul and old-school R&B sounds. Its members bring more than 250 years of cumulative musical experience, and have shared the stage with such notables as Muddy Waters, James Cotton, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee, Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin and Ray Charles.
