More information
Please bring your own spare parts (switches, wires, zippers). Bring your own batteries and all cables, so we can test the item.
Repair experts will also diagnose and repair computers (if no spare parts are needed). Bring your computer with its power cable and the Repair Coach will guide you through the repair or do it himself, depending on the difficulty of the repair.
Sewing 101 Workshop: Open to 13+ and adults. In this free workshop, experts will help you sew your own garments or textiles, either by hand or with sewing machines lent by the Evanston Public Library. Bring your torn or ripped pants, sweaters, backpacks, coats, duvets or your favorite blanket or stuffed animal and you'll be guided through the repair so you can take it home as if new.
Venga a reparar sus aparatos eléctricos, ropas y textiles, joyas sencillas, juguetes y artículos electrónicos (no tabletas ni “smartphones”) con nuestras herramientas y la ayuda de nuestros expertos. Se habla español en el evento.
