UPDATE 9/17/19: The child friendly tour is now full.

Community members are invited to tour the Evanston Water Treatment Facility, located at 555 Lincoln St., on Saturday, Oct. 12. The City's Water Production Bureau is giving two tours on a first-come, first-served basis. The first tour will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for residents 15 years and older. The second “child friendly” tour will follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for residents with children age 6 years or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All adults are required to provide photo identification upon arrival.

Water facility tours are limited to the first 30 people that sign up for each group, and all must be Evanston residents. Residents are encouraged to call 847-448-8198 or email aprice@cityofevanston.org by Wednesday, October 9 to register.
