Participate in a free presentation on how both positive and negative perceptions of aging can influence one’s health and well-being, hosted by the Commission on Aging on Thurs., Sept. 26, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Ave. Dr. Jennifer Smith, Director of Research, and Dr. Cate O’Brien, Assistant Vice President & Director, will provide information on how the media promotes certain images of aging, how age stereotypes affect our own views of aging, and how we can change how we view aging.
