More than 25 local mental health organizations and practitioners with resources for adolescents through older adults will be available at the Evanston Public Library for the
Mental Health and wellness Fair on Saturday, September 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to connect directly with these resource providers and learn more about mental health and wellness. There will also be hands-on creative arts therapy, education sessions, light refreshments, and door prizes available.
Breakout sessions will include topics like:
- Teen suicide prevention and awareness
- Caregiver stress, support, and self-care
- Principles of Harm Reduction
- Personal recovery stories
