Air Quality Study Community Meeting
Church Street Waste Transfer Station
The community is invited to meetings with Alderman Rue Simmons and Alderman Braithwaite to learn about the air quality monitoring study that will take place around the waste transfer station located at 1711 Church St. The City has hired a consultant to conduct a 6-month air quality monitoring study that will end in November, 2019. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the air quality around the waste transfer station and to identify the sources of potential contaminants.
