The 17th annual “Cop on a Rooftop” event will take place Friday, May 17.  Law enforcement officials will be stationed on rooftops at 315 participating Dunkin’ locations across the state of Illinois, collecting money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. Each guest who visits a Cop on a Rooftop location and makes a donation to the Torch Run will receive a free donut coupon. Guests donating at least $10 will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug (while supplies last) and a coupon for free medium coffee. Other items, such as Torch Run T-shirts and raffle tickets, will be sold for various donation amounts.

 

This year’s Special Olympics Illinois fundraisers are aiming to surpass last year’s grand total of $871,000.  Since 2003, the event has raised more than $4.8 million total dollars for Special Olympics Illinois.
