This concert is the ideal introductory orchestral concert for children 5–13 years, but will also be fun for parents and grandparents. Enjoy the music in A Colorful Symphony based on a chapter from Norton Juster’s The Phantom Tollbooth, in which a boy enters a magical land where an orchestra and its conductor play color into the world each day. 

The Evanston Symphony Orchestra will play selections from Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean, in addition to playing alongside orchestra students from Evanston District 65.

Admission is free and all are welcome. Donations are encouraged, and your gift will go directly to a fund administered by ESO to budding musicians in District 65 to support scholarships, instrument rentals, and instrument repair. Donations are being accepted here.
