This Veterans Day, community members and Random Acts of Flowers will honor more than 350 servicemen and women by creating red, white, and blue floral arrangements that will be delivered to patients in our three local veterans facilities:

• Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital
• Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center
• Jesse Brown VA Hospital

Guests will customize special thank you cards and make an additional arrangement to personally deliver to a veteran of their choice, or to take home. Tickets are $35 per person or $30 each for groups of four or more. Random Acts of Flowers is located at 2000 Greenleaf St., Suite 5, Evanston. Details and tickets

Random Acts of Flowers improves the emotional health and well-being of individuals in health care facilities by delivering recycled flowers, encouragement, and personal moments of kindness. To date, RAF Chicago has served more than 111,000 individuals in over 200 Chicagoland healthcare facilities.
