On Thursday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m., the Evanston Fire Department will host the Citizen Fire Academy (CFA) graduation at the Morton Civic Center's Jay C. Lytle Council Chambers, located at 2100 Ridge Ave.

The Citizen Fire Academy is a 10-week, physically demanding program that gives community members a first-hand look into the daily operations of the Evanston Fire Department. This year’s class consists of 16 graduating members, putting them into an elite group of CFA alumni.
