Nia's philosophy is: "Through Movement We Find Health" and is based on the idea that exercise should feel good inside and out. Nia is a blend of healing arts (like yoga), dance arts (like jazz and modern), and martial arts (like t'ai chi and tae kwon do). In this 1-hour class, Myrna will guide you through a mix of movements. The choreography is simple and easy to follow. It's adaptable to all fitness levels. Throughout class, Myrna will encourage you to work at your level and will demonstrate levels 1, 2 and 3, so that you can customize movements to your own unique, beautiful body. Myrna Weinman has been teaching Nia classes and facilitating self-healing through movement for over 17 years. She specializes in creating an atmosphere of self-acceptance, fun, and joy in her classes and workshops.
