Walk Description:
A 2-mile round-trip walk from the lakefront across the Northwestern campus to the Morton Civic Center, where we will visit with volunteers who take care of the Demonstration Garden there. Along the way, we will point out some of the features that make Evanston a good place to visit not only for people, but for birds and butterflies! Come early if you’d like to tour the bird sanctuary with stewards.

Street parking available near Clark Street Beach. Restrooms and drinking fountains available at Clark Street Beach and the Morton Civic Center.
