The City of Evanston's Human Relations Commission presented its 2015 Community Diversity Scholarship to ETHS alumnus Andre Wallace at the Evanston City Council meeting on January 11, 2016. The $1,000 scholarship was sponsored by First Bank & Trust and will be used for educational purposes. The Evanston Fire Department is hosting an open house for its Fire Explorer Program. This coed program was launched in 2012 and is designed for students ages 14 to 20 years old. Evanston resident Zoe Parrilli, age 11, will compete in the 2016 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota this Saturday, January 16.
