The Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market will open for its 41st season on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at University Pl. and Oak Ave., behind the Hilton Garden Inn.' The Evanston Police Department has released a new video, available at youtube.com/CityofEvanstonIL, that provides insight into the Department's training and usage of Tasers. The City of Evanston has released an analysis of 2015 employee sick time usage. The analysis is available online, at cityofevanston.org/transparency. Sick time usage averaged 43 hours per City employee in 2015, or 3.59 hours per month.
