    The City of Evanston will showcase upcoming plans for the complete rebuilding of a 1.9-mile stretch of Sheridan Road during the Evanston City Council meeting on Monday, October 17. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston.   • Reminder: Early Deadline for Delinquent 2015 Property Tax Payments

    The City of Evanston's Property Tax Assessment Review Office reminds residents that the Cook County Treasurer has changed the deadline for making delinquent 2015 property tax payments. The 2015 Annual Delinquent Tax Sale will begin on April 3, 2017, giving homeowners approximately six months or less to pay off the past due balance on their 2015 property tax bills, which were due August 1, 2016. As of September 21, 30 cases of West Nile virus have been reported in Illinois in 2016. A total of 77 cases were reported in Illinois in 2015.
