Watch Chicago Cubs World Series Games at Evanston Community Centers
The City of Evanston will host watch parties at four community centers as the Chicago Cubs take on the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. Luke Stowe Appointed City of Evanston Chief Information Officer
City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz today announced the appointment of Luke Stowe as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Evanston. Stowe has been serving as the interim Information Technology Division Manager since August, has served as Digital Services Manager since March, and before that served as the City's Digital Services Coordinator beginning in 2012. UPDATE: Due to cable connectivity issues, the Levy Center will not be showing NLCS Games 6 and 7 (if necessary). The games will still be aired at the Robert Crown Center and Chandler-Newberger Center. The Evanston Police Department is issuing a community alert due to residents who have reported receiving flyers titled Operation Safe Home. The flyers are purported to be from an organization that is painting house addresses on the curb in exchange for $20.00 which will be collected by a service representative at a later date. Evanston City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz has released the proposed budget for the City of Evanston's 2017 Fiscal Year, which runs from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. "Pedal Bright" Bike Light Giveaway and Installation Event Returns October 13
