  • Change Clocks and Batteries in Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors as Daylight Saving Time Ends November 6

    Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016. The Evanston Fire Department reminds everyone to not only change the clocks throughout their homes before they go to bed on Saturday night (set them back one hour), but to also change the batteries in their home's smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
