The annual Jazz Brunch in honor of the WE program will be held on Sunday, March 25. Chicago jazz favorite Bobby Broom is scheduled to headline the jazz portion of the event.

This event combines music, great eats, and the opportunity to raise funds for the WE program, which selects high school students whose professional aims include avenues that require additional study that are not necessarily a college path. An outgrowth of the Forrest E. Powell Foundation founded by restauranteur Hecky Powell, the WE Foundation matches students with mentors who help guide, counsel, and affirm the careers these young people aspire to.
