The Evanston Police Department will hold an informational recruitment event on Saturday, May 22, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St. At this drop-in event, potential candidates  will have the opportunity to speak directly with an EPD officer and ask questions about the police department and the hiring process. Applications will not be accepted on site, but attendees will have an opportunity to sign up to receive updates and more information about EPD recruitment. Attendees do not need to bring anything to the event.
