Welcome to the inaugural issue of Evanston Life!

Starting with the Spring/Summer 2013 issue, the City of Evanston magazine (formerly Recreation & Arts Activity Guide) has been renamed and redesigned.

Over the past several years, the "Highlights" newsletter and the Recreation & Arts Activities Guide have undergone various changes, including combining the two publications to save money and be more sustainable. As we looked to further enhance the usefulness of the publication for all Evanston residents, the new Evanston Life magazine was born.

All residential households in ZIPs 60201 and 60202 will receive the issue in the mail the week of Monday, February 25. The publication includes news from City of Evanston departments (Health, Public Safety, Public Works, Economic Development, Library and more) and covers Evanston's recreation, arts and leisure scene through August 2013.

You may register for City of Evanston classes in person, by phone, mail or online. To register for classes listed in this issue that are offered by other arts organizations, please contact those organizations directly.
