Do you want to make a suggestion to help improve police services?

The Evanston Police Department welcomes suggestions regarding its performance, and praise, if that's appropriate.

Fill out the form below to Commend or Suggest. If you prefer not to use the online form, you may call may call the Office of Professional Standards at 847.866.5009 (during normal business hours) to make an appointment. During non-business hours, phone 847-866-5000 and ask to speak to the Shift Commander. Or, you may come to the station in person and ask to speak to the Shift Commander.

Additionally, a box with the EPD logo located in the back of the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, just off the parking lot, accepts comments, commendations and complaints about the EPD. Community members can fill out ready-made forms, available at the EPD, 1454 Elmwood Avenue, or they can write their own notes and drop them in the box.
