NEW FOR 2009!
ARTIST INSTALLATION
This year, the festival introduces a live art installation, which will be created interactively with festival attendees both Saturday and Sunday.

Evanston artist Tim Abel invites festival attendees to write their wishes on small origami paper boats, which then will then be cast afl oat in the lagoon. Visitors are invited to stop by to share their wish or to learn the simple origami construction steps so they can make their own wish boat to launch! The collected wishes will become a fl oating poem as their numbers grow over the duration of the festival.

» Little Steps: Participants will fi rst receive a “passport” for their journey towards achieving optimal health and wellness
» Stretch: A second area will be designated for those who wish to join a mini yoga session
» Taste: Guests are welcome to enjoy a delightful sampling of better-for-you snacks, cereals and side dishes, and ask questions to representatives on site
» Explore: A cooking demonstration and education station will showcase simple yet delicious natural foods recipes created by a trained chef. Each attendee will receive a recipe card so he or she may re-create the dishes at home.
