BEACHES - SEASON TOKENS
Evanston's public swimming beaches are now closed for the season.
Starting in April, season tokens may be purchased weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., and at local community centers (Robert Crown, Chandler-Newberger, Fleetwood-Jourdain). Beach token sales begin at the Dempster St. Beach Office in May. Note: during May the Beach Office is open weekends only.
Please note that the 2009 daily fees were $8, adult and $6, child age 1-11.

Season tokens are sold at a “preseason” discount before the beach season begins. Tokens also are sold at a lower price towards the end of the season (starting August 1).
Scholarships are available to qualified Evanston residents for season beach tokens as well as for other Parks/Forestry and Recreation Department classes and programs. Apply for a scholarship at the Civic Center or any community center. Call 847.866.2900 in advance to determine which documents to bring or download the application below.

Free beach tokens are made available through the City of Evanston's Recreation Division and various community outreach agencies/organizations to Evanston residents who meet income guidelines.
